Atascadero All Comers

Track and Field Meets for All Ages
Dates: Five Wednesday Nights
  • June 17
  • June 24
  • July 1
  • July 8
  • July 15​

All participants 12 and under: Ribbons given for 1st through 4th place, as well as participation
​Age Limits are set for the safety and appropriateness of development of the participants. Thank you for understanding!
Entry fee: $5 per participant, for unlimited events
​Bring a Team for a maximum fee of $100 for the team. If bringing one notify the meet director Robyn Schmidt

​Time: 3:30 to 9 p.m. (end-time is approximate)
Ages: All-ages, from under 6 to over 60
Divisions:
  • 6 & under
  • 7 - 9
  • 10 - 12
  • 13 - 15
  • 16 - 18
  • 19 - 29 (open)
  • 30+ (masters)
Timeline:
2:00 p.m. - Javelin​
  • High School and older
  • Run by multi-Olympian Karin Smith
  • Karin is available at all remaining meets.
  • Javelin participants must RSVP to runninrobyn@gmail.com to compete.

3:30 p.m. — Discus (Invitational)
4:30 p.m. — Discus (Open - High school & older)
5:30 p.m. — Field events begin (By age divisions, youngest to oldest)
  • High Jump
  • Shot Put
  • Long Jump 
  • Turbo Javelin (Up to 12)
  • Pole Vault (High school & older)​
6 p.m. — Singing of the national anthem
6:05 p.m. — 100- & 110-meter High Hurdles (ages 13 & older)
Rolling start for remaining events (approximate times)
6:20 p.m. — Kids hurdles (6 & under)
6:50 p.m. — 4x100-meter relay (7 & older)
7:10 p.m. — 
1,500-meter (July 10, July 24 & Aug. 7) 10 & older
7:10 p.m. — 1-mile (July 17 & 31) 10 & older
7:20 p.m.
 
— 400-meter (all ages) WATERFALL
7:35 p.m. — 100-meter (all ages)
8:05 p.m. — 800-meter (7 & older) WATERFALL
8:15 p.m. — 200-meter (all ages)
8:30 p.m. — 3000-meter run (12 and older) WATERFALL

Field Events end at 8:00pm. Running events end about 9:00pm.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
  • Do we have to preregister before we get there?
  • Event registration is done using  stickers with the participants NAME, AGE, GENDER on it.  You may prepare your own stickers ahead of time or use the stickers we provide. One sticker per event.
  • What time to we have to get there to register?
    You must sign up for any field events you want to do by 7:30pm to participate.
  • Is the cost $5 for each event?
    Cost is $5 per person.  This allows each person to sign up for as many events as they want. Schools and clubs can bring their entire team with a maximum fee of $100.
  • If bringing a team, notify the meet director Robyn Schmidt
  • Is this automatic timing?
    Yes we have "FAT (Fully Automated Timing) Timing"
  • Is this a sanctioned event?
    NO, we are not sanctioned, but follow High School Track & Field rules in general
  • Is there food sold at the event?
    YES, the "Top Dog" concessions will be open with snacks, drinks and dinner
  • Can I bring a blanket or chairs to sit on the field?
    YES, families are welcome to be on the field but we encourage other spectators to sit in the stands to minimize people on the field.
  • What ages can participate?  
    All ages from 3 to 103! There are age limitations for some events so look at the order of events.
  • Where can we see results?
    They will be posted on our website; atascaderoallcomers.org within 1 - 2 days after each meet.
  • Can athletes wear spikes?
    Yes. They need to have 3/16' needle spikes only please.
  • What is the time schedule?
    The "Order of Events" has a tentative time schedule on it. These are approximate times depending on the number of participants who show up.
